Q: How is the Golf Course being watered?
A: Reclaimed water will be used to water the Golf Course.

Q: Is there housing along the perimeter of the golf course?
A: No.

Q: How do I join/become a member?
A: This is a public Golf Course, no memberships required, however special rates and promotions are available to The Crossings Club participants.

Q: What are the green fees? And do residents and seniors receive a discount?
A: The green fees can be found on the Green Fees page of this website. 

Q: Can I rent the clubhouse for public / private events?
A: Yes, the clubhouse is available for rental, both for public and private events.

Q: Where exactly is it located?
A: The entrance to the Golf Course is located at The Crossings Drive (formally Hidden Valley Road), Carlsbad 92008, just east of LEGOLAND.  The approximate cross-streets bordering the Golf Course are: Palomar Airport Road / College / Faraday & Cannon Rd.  Visit our Map/Directions page of this site for more information.

Q: May I bring my own golf cart onto the course?
A: No. Rates include a golf cart.

Q: Will I be able to walk the course?
A: No, due to the varied terrain, and for safety reasons, only carts will be allowed, no walking. Golf carts are included in the price of the greens fee.

Q: Is there a driving range?
A: Yes, a fully lighted practice facility, complete with driving range, putting area and chipping green,  which is open until 9:00pm daily.

Q: What is the distance of the driving range?
A: +/- 310 yards.

Q: What will be the hours/days of operation?
A: Open daily (7-days/wk) - depending on sunrise/sunset schedule.

Q: What is the dress code policy?
A:  The Crossings at Carlsbad appreciates traditional golf attire: Shirts must have some type of collar or moc turtleneck, Shorts must be no more than 2” from the knee, Denim / jeans of any color are NOT allowed. The professional staff present at the time of check in has the right to revoke any attire that they deem inappropriate for play.

Q: Are there public trails throughout the course?
A: There will be public trails through a portion of the course.  For additional information on the Citywide Trails System, please visit the City of Carlsbad's website at: www.ci.carlsbad.ca.us/trails/ .
